The story of this bridge is that if you drive all the way out into the middle of it, your car shuts off and an unseen force pushes you across the bridge. It has also been said that you can hear eerie noises outside your car, and when you leave, you will see hand prints on its surface. It's been reported that if the spirits notice you have been there a few times, they will try and push you off the bridge or break your car windows.

  • I don't buy it

I've done this a few times and each time nothing happens. There is a small incline and you will move no matter what. We tested it numerous times trying to debunk and each time it seemed to move if you were in the right spot. I don't doubt this place has sad energy to it, but i've never seen handprints on our vehicle and we did it so many times.

  • Shadow people

Saw someone walking towards us at night but after pointing a light, they disappeared. Heard footsteps, found handprints, and the car did move. Was terrifying and will go again.

  • Legit

In my late teens, friends and I would regularly seek out paranormal places (graveyards, thirteen steps, an old shut down mental health facility). This is by far the most legit experience I've ever encountered. I went prob 4 times, only worked half the time. The people referencing an incline/decline are full of it. when it didn't work, we were at a stand still. When it did work, it was from a standstill, then a speed excess of simply rolling in neutral. It was very surreal.

  • Ive done this A LOT. And it works.

Ive experienced several times over several years the experience that is Matsells Bridge. The legend i heard was a school bus full of children was forced off the bridge by an oncoming truck back in the 40's or 50's. All the children parrished. And so its said that if you put your car into neutral and turn off the engine that the children will push you across the bridge trying to help you not have the same experience as they did. But fair warning that if they suspect that you are mocking them, then they will push your car towards the side of the bridge. And I've even heard of them breaking car windows. Make sure and dust your car with baby powder on all sides, making sure you have a nice coat of powder around the the door handles and front and rear fenders. Because you will find handprints of all sizes. And it works going both ways on the bridge so the gravity debunking theory doesnt work.

  • First time

We went for the first time didnt try the bridge part but we had experiences. My 2 friends heard voices and heard footsteps they were ahead of me and my other friend as there was no wind that night she heard someone whisper in her ear we went back to my car and sat down waiting for the other 2 and the back of my door was tugged at like someone tried to get into my car as we were the only 4 on that street and out there this was maybe I wanna say close to midnight when this happened. I do say there was paranormal activity for sure out there

  • Fake

This is not real. Me and my friends drove an hour to try this 10 times. There is a slight incline so if u drive into the middle u will roll backwards. I put my car in neutral while it was on and it was rolling so this is complete trash.
