This cemetery is rumored to be haunted by a ghostly child named Sara. She is buried near the back of the cemetery with four other children from her family. She is said to follow people around and ask for someone named Ree. She has also reportedly touched people and tugged at their clothing if her queries are not answered.

  • Sara pulled my shirt.

I went there and walked around for a while. Every time I kept walking so could hear footsteps behind me. When I stopped the footsteps would stop too. I felt a tug on the back of my shirt. Poor Sara just wants someone to play with.

  • Waste of time..

Bought an (expensive) SB7 spirit box and EMF to use for a future paranormal investigation. We decided to add this to our list to look for any signs of "Sara" and test our equipment along the way. When we got to it? Nothing. No EMF spikes, no responses on the spirit box. We couldn't even find Sara's grave and honestly didn't feel like it would be best to keep looking due to the highway right off the cemetery. Too suspicious and not enough information in this post to find it. Not worth it.

  • It's not haunted, it's an elk farm.

I live in Madrid and have heard all the stories, usually they consist of a girl named Sara screaming or yelling. I just smile and listen and then I tell them that the screaming they are hearing is elk rutting season and the bull elk are bugling (sounds like screaming from a distance). The elk farm is right across the field from cemetery maybe an eighth mile or so. The look on peoples faces when they hear it is priceless, then they realize it's just elk and feel stupid they drove all this way to listen to horny bull elk. lol To the site administrators... Please take this haunt down, It's wasting peoples time and the Police have and will arrest them if caught in there after hours.
