We are a family run apple orchard located in Jefferson, Iowa. Deal’s Orchard has 45 acres of apple trees with over 25 varieties of apples in our orchards.

A trip to Deal’s Orchard has become an annual fall tradition for many families. Enjoy hayrides, finding your way through our corn maze, picking a pumpkin from our patch, and spending hours having fun in our Fall Family Fun Zone, Apple Acres. You’ll love our jumping pillow, giant slides, human hamster wheel, corn pool, pedal tractors, goat run and MORE! With all it has to offer, you’re sure to have fun while making some great memories.

Fall Festival
We celebrate the harvest every year with our annual Fall Festival. Fall Festival began in 1982 as an open house to thank our customers. Over the past 30 years it’s grown to its present size and we now have thousands of people come visit from all over the state. Fall Festival is always held the second full weekend in October. We have live entertainment, feature many activities and attractions, have the Kiwanis Club out grilling, and serve fresh baked homemade apple pies and dumplings. Many people make it a family tradition to come every year to our Fall Festival. We hope you’ll mark your calendar and come on by this year!

In November, our Apple Barn becomes a winter wonderland as we gear up for the Christmas season. Visit our Tree Farm and make memories finding and cutting your own Christmas Tree.

Family Fun Activities:

Hayrides:
On the weekends we offer free hay rides throughout the day. Get a full tour of Deal’s Orchard; see the Christmas tree farm, learn about our different varieties of apples and see our pumpkin patch all while riding on a tractor drawn hay ride.

Corn Maze:
Have an a-MAZE-ingly good time! Our 4 acre corn maze features a new theme every year. This year, you can hunt for treasure and compete against your friends and family to see who can find the most!

Corn Pool:
Think “giant sand box”, but with corn kernels. Kids have a lot of fun playing in our 200 bushels of corn.

Jumping Pillow:
It’s big, it’s bouncy, and it’s fun. So fun that parents will want a turn too (and go ahead- as long as you remove your shoes).

Goat Run:
Buy some food to feed the goats, or just watch them traverse the elevated platforms

Human Hamster Wheels:
Ever wonder what it feels like to be a hamster in a wheel? Now you can find out while racing a friend!

Wiggle Cars:
Wiggle and groove around on our wiggle cars. You’ll be amazed at the unique way these cars move.

Giant Slides - Yep. Giant. Slides. Enough said.

Duck Races - Use a water pump to propel your duck to the finish line the fastest.

Pedal Tractors -Pedal around our outdoor track on a kid sized tractor.

Apple Slingshots - How good is your aim? Do you think you can hit our targets?

Kiddie Train - Hop aboard for a ride around our grounds.
